Promotion of SUE & Geospatial Data Mapping

  • Promoting the use of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) in the planning and design phase

  • Advise for Contractor As-Built data for geospatial mapping

  • 2006 Legislative language added SUE to the Project Owners’ Requirements under the PA Underground Utility Line Protection Act (PA One Call Law)

  • 2024 - The law was to sunset and had to be renewed. Dig Prevention Consulting worked with the various PA 811 Committees to further define the use of SUE on projects throughout Pennsylvania

  • 2025 - Sits on the SUMDEx Board of Directors advancing digital mapping software FREE to all One Call Centers

  • 2025 - Associate member of the national SUE Association
